Occupation
I am a Pediatric ECMO Specialist/Respiratory Care Practitioner. ECMO is proof of how science, medicine, and mechanics can all work together to save lives. There is so much that I can say here, but if you come and find me and ask me about ECMO, I will gladly talk your ear off about it.
Car Memory
My dad invented a game when I was a little kid. He would point to a car and if I could tell him the make & model, he would give me a quarter. (It was the 80s and a quarter could really buy you a lot as a young kid)

Fun Fact
My family & my boyfriend all think that my vehicle collecting has gotten out of hand. At this time my mechanical children are: Bernard: my beloved 2001 Land Rover Discovery II Basil: our 1995 Range Rover Classic Barkley: our 1993 Ford C350 with Four Wheel Camper Banner: our 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300TD BB: my 1992 Mazda Miata (the only non-op project) and Bruce: my 2015 Lexus CT200h and our brave Trinite vehicle! Yes, all the names start with a "B", that's been the case with our family vehicles, and there's no real reason behind it, but there's no sense in breaking a 40+ year tradition.
Dream Car
My 2001 Land Rover Discovery II, Bernard. Dreams really DO come true.
Objectives
Finish, have fun, try to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. I think that life can get so fast paced sometimes and we can get so focused on the end result that we forget to enjoy the journey along the way.
Greatest Adventure
Competing in the 2023 Rebelle and all of the preparation it took to get there. The adventure continues as we learn more, practice more, and spend more time out where the cell phone signal ends. The training and experience that I have gained has encouraged me to explore more and adventure often.

Occupation
I’ve had two careers, aerospace defense contracting and health insurance, but my occupation has never really been the thing that defines me. At my core, I’m an advocate. I’m always looking for ways to use what I know to help someone else, and I mentor whenever I can. Over time, my work has become less about a title and more about impact. I started in aerospace as a software engineer, writing test software for inertial measurement units and their components. For the past 20 years, I’ve worked in product strategy for healthcare payers, focused on closing that gap between product intent and reality.
Car Memory
My connection to cars started early. I was always in the garage with my dad wanting to be part of whatever he was working on. One moment always stayed with me. He was rebuilding the carburetor on his Camaro, and I really wanted to help. He told me "not now". The now came years later when I got my first car, a Mustang. We (mostly my Dad) rebuilt the carburetor together. It was hands on, messy, and exactly what I wanted to do. That curiosity never really went away. I still want to understand how things work, to be involved in the process, and to figure things out as I go.
Self Described As
I am grounded in strong beliefs and a genuine commitment to helping people grow. I show up with empathy and care deeply about building meaningful connections.
Fun Fact
I have visited all 7 continents.
Dream Car
A classic Ford Mustang converted into an EV with working Tesla Autopilot.
Objectives
I’m going into the Trinité Road Rally ready to adapt and trust my instincts in an event I can’t fully prepare for. My focus is on strong communication, staying calm under pressure, and being kind to myself when things don’t go as planned. If I can adjust quickly and keep moving forward, that’s a win.
Greatest Adventure
Unforgettable Antarctica and the journey home. After seven days surrounded by glaciers, wildlife, and endless ice aboard an icebreaker ship, the world shutdown in March 2020. Crossing the Drake Passage back to Ushuaia was rough, and as we approached Argentina, we learned the United States had closed its borders. We were stranded on this ship for six more days before being escorted by to a local airport by an armed Argentinian army and their local police. What followed was a 70 hour journey home across four cities, Ushuaia to Buenos Aires to Santiago to Mexico City, then finally back to the United States.
